Characteristics

Specifications

Turrets can exist free-standing, wall-mounted, or ceiling-mounted. Each turret has three different modes that can exist indicated by the color of its light. When a turret is passive its light will be green. If a turret is on alert, searching for a potential target, its calorie-free will turn yellow. When a turret finds a target, its lite turns red and it becomes hostile.

Gameplay attributes

These turrets take a body, barrel, and motors. Turrets volition actively track targets and may get enlightened of an enemy from a few rooms away. Some turrets are linked to terminals and may exist shut down. Not all turrets connected to terminals will be afflicted, however.

Variants

There are 3 master types of turrets in Appalachia. In that location are the ceiling and wall-mounted chimera turrets that can be found in pre-War locations around the wasteland. Pre-War light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation turret - three shot

This variant of laser turret will fire lasers quickly, almost as quickly as a Gatling light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation, although with much less accurateness. These turrets will also accept boosted wellness and damage.

C.A.Yard.P. turrets

These turrets can be built by the player character to defend the C.A.M.P. Each one provides a defence force to a C.A.M.P. and will help when attacked. Machinegun and heavy machinegun turrets are cocky-powered. Laser, heavy light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation, shotgun, and missile turrets must be powered by a generator and stop working if the generator is knocked out. Enemies will target generators when attacking. Prior to patch 1.ane.0.eight, turrets used much more than of the camp upkeep than were used by other items. That patch greatly reduces the upkeep cost for turrets and limits total turrets in a C.A.M.P. to 10.
